The Project

The general objective of ACIND is to contribute to the achievement of the Lisbon and Goteborg strategy through the promotion and enhancement of industrial sites infrastructures of the involved areas.

Improving territorial competitiveness is a key objective when implementing local development strategies.

Competitiveness for local areas and SMEs means the forecast of qualified infrastructures and development of practices about knowledge society and environmental and energetic sustainability.

ACInD project is developed along five main Work Packages: 2 horizontal WP (WP1: Project Management and WP5: Evaluation and dissemination) and 3 thematic WP, about territorial analysis and realization of pilot projects on competitiveness of industrial sectors over three issues: knowledge society, energy and environmental management of industrial sites.
